Chance to Win $2000* Contest (the “Contest” or “contest”)
Official Rules (the “Rules”)
1. CONTEST PERIOD
This contest is brought to you exclusively by 7-Eleven Canada, Inc. (the "Contest Sponsor"). The “7-Eleven Game Time Any Time Feast Contest (the "Contest" or "contest") commences on November 1, 2023 12:00:00 pm PT – January 9, 2024 11:59:59 pm PT and is separated into eight weeks of random draws as further described in these Contest rules (each a "Contest Period" and collectively the "Contest Periods").
2. ELIGIBILITY
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The contest is open to legal residents of the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario who are 13+ in the province he/she resides at the time of entry.
Notwithstanding the above, this contest is not open to employees, representatives, agents, officers or directors (or those with whom such persons are domiciled, whether related or not) of: (i) the Contest Sponsor, their respective divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates; (ii) Contest Sponsor’ advertising and promotional agencies, contest suppliers, prize suppliers, and any other entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration, judging or fulfillment of the Contest (collectively, the “Contest Parties”).
3. HOW TO ENTER
(a) ENTRY WITH RETAIL PURCHASE:
Step 1: Receive a link to download the 7-Eleven mobile application for the 7Rewards customer loyalty program (the "App") by texting “JOIN” to the mobile number 711247 and then download the App and create an account or visit 7rewards.ca and create a 7Rewards account; or register at the customer facing display at a participating 7-Eleven store, if the entrant already has a 7-Eleven member ID barcode go to Step 2 and skip this Step 1.
Step 2: Once the entrant has completed Step 1, with each transaction made at a participating 7-Eleven location, if member scans the 7-Eleven member ID barcode or enters a phone number associated with a 7-Eleven member ID barcode at the display in store with any 7-Eleven purchase, member will receive one (1) unique entry in the Contest; member will receive an additional five (5) entries for each participating product listed below purchased in a single transaction; 7Now delivery orders using a 7Rewards member account are automatically eligible as entrants in the Contest. Every delivery order with 7Now service will receive ten (10) unique entry in the Contest, including bonus entries for participating products; and 7-Eleven Mobile Checkout scans using the 7-Eleven app in store will receive ten (10) unique entry in the Contest, including bonus entries for participating products.

NOTE: The App is not compatible for download via mobile devices operating on the BlackBerry® or Windows® mobile operating systems. Text messaging fees may apply depending on the entrant’s mobile device carrier and text messaging package. Such fees are the responsibility of the entrant/account holder. Text messaging may not be available in all areas or with all mobile service providers. Entrant must be the person in whose name the mobile device account for the mobile device used to enter the Contest via mobile device is registered (the "Mobile Account Holder") or have the express permission of the Mobile Account Holder. Entries made via mobile device without the permission of the Mobile Account Holder may be disqualified, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor.
(b) NO PURCHASE ENTRY:
To obtain entries without making a purchase, visit https://7-eleven.ca/promos and complete the online entry form by following all online instructions including agreeing to be bound by the Contest rules. Limit one online (1) entry every seven (7) days of the Contest, per person/e-mail/mobile device account.
NOTE: Any internet access and usage charges imposed by online service providers will be the responsibility of the entrant.
Entrants may use only one (1) e-mail address or mobile account to enter. If it is discovered by the Contest Sponsor (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by the Contest Sponsor) that any person has attempted to use multiple names, identities, multiple accounts, or, and/or any automated, macro, script, robotic or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or disrupt this Contest in any way (as determined by Contest Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion); then he/she may be disqualified from the Contest in the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor. Any entry may be rejected if (in the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor) the entry form is not fully completed with all required information and submitted and received within the applicable timeline specified by the Contest Sponsor.
Proof of transmission (screenshots or captures etc.) or attempted transmission of an entry or of an attempted entry of any communication, does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt.
The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Contest Sponsor – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification): (i) for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility to participate in this Contest; (ii) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of an entry (or a purported entry) for the purposes of this Contest; and/or (iii) for any other reason the Contest Sponsor deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this contest in accordance with these Contest rules. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of the Contest Sponsor within the timeline specified by the Contest Sponsor may result in disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor.
By entering this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor and contest judges with regards to all aspects of this Contest, which are final and binding (without right of appeal).
4. PRIZES
There are eight (8) Grand Prizes valued at $2000.00 each to be awarded, a "Prize". Random draws from among all eligible entries will be conducted during each contest period as noted in the Prize Draw table below.
Each prize winner will receive $1,000.00 in the form of a cheque with an additional $1,000.00 to be paid to a charity of the winners’ choice selected from the list of charities provided below.
One of the following charitable organizations may be selected by each winner for a one-time donation of $1,000.00 Canadian dollars. Winners can request that the Canadian based local chapter of any of the following not for profit organizations may receive the donation: United Way, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Cancer Society, Food Banks Canada, Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, Bell Let’s Talk.
No prize substitutions allowed. Tax receipts will not be issued due to Canada Revenue Agency tax regulations.
5. METHOD OF AWARDING PRIZES
After the end of each of the Contest Periods, there will be draws conducted in Surrey, British Columbia, at which time potential Prize winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries submitted and received in accordance with these Contest rules. See Prize draw schedule below based on Pacific Time zone.

Odds of winning a Prize depends on the number of eligible entries submitted and received in accordance with these Contest rules during the applicable Contest Period.
Following the end of the applicable Contest Period, the Contest Sponsor representative will select one (1) entrant to be a potential Prize winner by a random draw from all eligible entries submitted and received in accordance with these Contest rules unless otherwise indicated. Each entrant shall be eligible to win only one (1) Prize. The odds of being selected as a potential Prize winner are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received for the Contest. Any remaining entries will be carried over for entry in the next Contest Period.
All Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred, exchanged, assigned or refunded. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute any Prize or a portion thereof with a prize or prizes of at least equal value (including, without limitation, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor), an alternate prize in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised Prize or any portion thereof.
Please allow approximately four (4) to six (6) weeks for fulfillment of your Prize. No responsibility is assumed by the Contest Parties for any postal mail or courier delivery returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address. No responsibility is assumed by Contest Parties for Prizes after they have been shipped. Winners bear all risk of loss or damages to Prize after delivery.
The approximate retail value of the Prize as stated by the Contest Sponsor in point-of-sale advertising, and other advertising, promotion materials, and/or in these Contest rules is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, the passage of time between the date the approximate retail value is stated by the Contest Sponsor and the date the Prizes are awarded or redeemed. If, at the time the Prize is awarded or redeemed, the actual prevailing retail purchase price for the Prize is less than the approximate retail value stated by the Contest Sponsor in point of sale, in advertising, promotion materials, and/or in these Contest rules, the Prize winner will not be entitled to a cheque or cash for the price difference.
Selected entrants will be contacted by email or phone at the email account or phone number associated with his/her 7-Eleven member ID barcode, or as provided on the no purchase entry form web page, with further information on how to be confirmed as a winner and claim the Prize. If a selected entrant cannot be reached, for whatever reason, of being notified by email or phone within seven (7) days, another entrant may be randomly selected (from among the remaining eligible entries submitted and received in accordance with these Contest rules) at the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor.
Before being declared a winner of a Prize, each selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a skill-testing question to be administered by a Contest Sponsor representative, then sign and return a Declaration and Release Form in the form provided by Contest Sponsor (and any other documents, as applicable, as may be requested by Contest Sponsor) within seven (7) days of receipt (the "Prize Claim Date").
If a potential Prize winner cannot be reached/located, fails to reply within seven (7) days following contact by the Contest Sponsor representative by email or phone, as the case may be, to claim their Prize, is not in compliance with these Contest rules, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the Prize, fails to return all Declaration and Release Forms (and any other documents, as applicable) by the Prize Claim Date, or if email or other correspondence between the Contest Sponsor and potential winner is returned as undeliverable, the Prize may be forfeited by that potential winner and the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select another potential winner from among the remaining eligible entries submitted and received in accordance with these Contest rules.
Prizes will be awarded, subject to these Contest rules, upon correctly answering the skill-testing question, receipt of the properly completed and executed Declaration and Release Forms (and any other documents as may be requested by Contest Sponsor, as applicable) and verification of Prize winner (in each case, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor).
6. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
By entering this Contest, the entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Contest Parties and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") (i) shall have no liability of any kind whatsoever with respect to this Contest and/or the delivery, acceptance, receipt, possession, awarding, use or misuse, inability to use, defect of, and travel related to any Prize, (ii) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any Prize, (iii) disclaim any implied warranty, and (iv) are not liable for any injury or any indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential losses or damages of any kind whether resulting from, before, during or after the entrant’s acceptance, use or misuse of any Prize or otherwise from such entrant’s participation in this Contest including any travel related thereto. The Released Parties are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the contest Rules, the selection and announcement of winners, or the distribution of any Prize. The Released Parties shall have no responsibility and by accepting the Prize, the winner acknowledges and accepts such risks and assumes all liabilities. Prize cannot be modified by winner. Refusal to accept a Prize releases the Released Parties of all responsibility and obligations towards the winner of such Prize.
By participating in this Contest, entrant accepts and agrees to these contest Rules and all decisions of the Contest Sponsor, which shall be final and legally binding on entrant in all matters relating to this Contest. In the event of any dispute regarding the interpretation of these Contest rules, the decision or interpretation of the Contest Sponsor shall prevail. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned. In order to be confirmed a winner and receive a Prize, any selected entrant will be required to sign the Release form which confirms compliance with these contest Rules and releases the Released Parties from all liability with respect to the Contest, the entrant’s participation or inability to participate in this Contest and the delivery, acceptance, receipt, possession, awarding, use/misuse, inability to use, defect of, and travel related to the Prize.
Prize winners agree to the use of his/her name, image, likeness, persona, and city/province of residence for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any media or format (including the Internet), and grants to the Contest Sponsor (7-Eleven Canada, Inc.), any and all rights to said use without further notice or compensation.
Any entry that is late, incomplete, altered, or contains false information, is invalid. The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected claims or entries or for any problems or technical malfunction of any Internet or telephone network or broadcast transmission during the Contest Periods. The Released Parties are not responsible for any errors or omissions with respect to the printing or advertising of this contest and reserves the right to withdraw, amend or cancel this contest in the event of a printing or administrative error.
Unless otherwise deemed appropriate by the Contest Sponsor for the administration of the contest based on the circumstances, no communications will be entered into except with selected entrants. Once Prize winners have been verified and confirmed, the Prize winners' names may be posted at www.7rewards.ca.
The Released Parties accept no responsibility for any injuries, losses, damages or claims of any kind arising from or in connection with any Prize (or portion thereof) or the contest itself. By entering, entrant releases and holds harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, damages or claims of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest or any Prize (or a portion thereof) won. By submitting an entry, entrant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, losses, costs, damages, liabilities and costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) which may arise out of any breach of any of covenants, agreements, terms, obligations, representations or warranties set forth herein.
Without limiting the release of liability provisions herein, and for greater certainty, the Released Parties will not be liable for: a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by contest website users or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries in the contest; b) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation of the contest website or any transmission in connection with the contest; c) any communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; d) any problems with, or technical malfunction of, any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or failure of email which may occur for any reason whatsoever, including technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof; or e) any injury or damage to entrants' or to any other person's computer or other device related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this contest.
7. RIGHT TO TERMINATE, MODIFY OR SUSPEND
The Contest Sponsor may at any time, at its sole and absolute discretion and without liability or advance notice, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, subject only to approvals required by law, if fraud, technical failures or communications or any other errors or other causes beyond the control of the Contest Sponsor corrupt the administration, integrity or security of the Contest or if any other factor interferes with the conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these contest Rules. Without restricting the generality of the foregoing, in the event of early termination of the Contest, a notice may be posted at www.7rewards.ca to that effect. In addition, for the purposes of determining eligibility to win a Prize in the event of early termination of the Contest, all eligible entries received prior to the time of early termination will be considered as valid and for the purposes of these contest Rules, the Contest Period will be deemed to have ended at the moment of early termination. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion, to correct any errors, including without limitation, any typographical, printing, computer programming or operator errors.
The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to adjust any of the dates, timeframes and/or other contest mechanics stipulated in these Contest rules, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by any entrant or entry with these Contest rules, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the contest as contemplated in these Contest rules, or for any other reason. The Contest Sponsor also reserves the right to cancel this contest at any time.
Where applicable and in the event of a dispute as to who submitted an entry, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to deem the entry to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry or Mobile Account Holder. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Selected entrant may be required to provide the Contest Sponsor with proof that he/she (i) is the Authorized Account Holder of the email address associated with the selected entry; (ii) is the Mobile Account Holder; or (iii) has the express permission of the Mobile Account Holder to enter.
The Contest Sponsor reserve the right at their sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any individual from the contest, and to ban that individual from any future promotion of the Contest Sponsor, if the Contest Sponsor find or believe such individual to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or where applicable, the contest website; to be acting in violation of the Contest rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass the Contest Sponsor, the Contest Sponsor' agencies, other entrants or any other person. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE CONTEST SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
8. PERSONAL INFORMATION
7-Eleven Canada, Inc. ("7-Eleven") is collecting personal data about the entrants for the purpose of administering this contest and may share this information with the promotional fulfilment agency for the purpose of the administration of the Contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants, unless the entrant has specifically opted-in to receive such communications or such communications are otherwise permitted by applicable law. The Contest Sponsor respects your right to privacy of your personal information. Please review 7-Eleven’s Privacy Policy at http://7-eleven.ca/privacy for details on the manner in which 7-Eleven collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise manages your personal information.
9. GOVERNING LAW and Interpretation
This contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these contest Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of these contest Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, then it shall be, to the extent invalid or unenforceable, deemed omitted and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. No waiver on the part of the Contest Sponsor or any of the other Contest Parties to enforce any term herein shall be deemed a continuing waiver or a waiver of any other term.
In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Contest rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, the terms and conditions of these Contest rules shall prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by law.
